Apple’s free iTunes U app allows you to access courses through your iPad, iPhone, or iPod Touch. You can view videos or listen to audio lectures right from the app. You can also read eBooks and view presentations. While the app is mostly designed as a way to deliver lectures to students, anyone can use it to access educational content, including the following courses from top schools:

Beginning on March 20, Ben Bernanke, chairman of the Federal Reserve’s Board of Governors, will deliver a series of lectures at the George Washington University’s School of Business (GWSB). “Reflections of the Federal Reserve and its Place in Today’s Economy” will provide a firsthand look at the inner-workings of the U.S. central banking system. The first four lectures featuring the chairman will be livestreaming for anyone who wants to view the classes and see the interdisciplinary learning that is happening at George Washington University. The lectures following the first four will also be made available online. All lectures, class materials and biographical information can be accessed online.
Chairman Bernanke’s lectures will begin with the origins and missions of the Federal Reserve, followed by a lecture that will discuss the role and actions of the Federal Reserve in the period after World War II. In the final two lectures, the chairman will review some of the causes of, and policy responses to, the recent financial crisis, focusing specifically on the actions of the Federal Reserve. Chairman Bernanke’s lectures are scheduled for March 20, 22, 27 and 29 and will begin at 12:45 pm EDT and end at 2 p.m.George Washington University faculty participating in the course following the lectures featuring the chairman include.
